Running your kitchen doesn’t have to be hard or expensive

We get it. Grocery costs keep rising and managing a kitchen is a lot of work.
KMedley helps you save on groceries and create a calmer, easier-to-run kitchen.

How do you run your kitchen today?

One person holds it together

The kitchen works, but depends heavily on one person to plan, remember and keep everything moving.

We share the work

More than one person shops, cooks or helps and responsibilities and information are distributed across the household.

Maybe your kitchen has blindspots

You may already have ways of keeping things going, but the pieces don’t always work together. Without a clear, shared view of what you have and what’s planned, it's easy to end up with overspending and food waste – making groceries more expensive and the kitchen harder to run.

Maybe your life has changed

Your household may be growing, shrinking, facing new health requirements, or feeling the pressure of rising grocery costs, and the old way of running the kitchen may no longer fit.

Whether you’re holding the kitchen together or helping carry the load,
KMedley can help.

Coaching, the KMedley app, and services working as one

  • A KMedley coach and a client talking over a laptop at a kitchen table
  • Two people cleaning and tidying a bright kitchen together

KMedley combines short-term coaching, an app that fits into real life, and optional in-person services.
Together, they help your household build a clearer, more connected way to run the kitchen.

Understand

Your KMedley coach learns how your household and kitchen work today.

What changes?

The household has a shared picture of the kitchen, with each person participating at the level that makes sense.

  • Fewer extra trips to the store
  • Item bloat and food waste decrease
  • Easier meal decisions
  • Save on groceries
  • Easier sharing of responsibilities
  • The kitchen feels calmer

The KMedley app reinforces connected habits and keeps everyone in sync.

  • MakingMeal planning that fits real life

KMedley helps build a meal plan around your household’s real appetites and schedule, then turns your plan into a shopping list that only asks for what’s actually missing.

  • One current picture of what’s in the pantry, fridge, and freezer. Everyone can see what’s in stock, what’s running low, and what should be used first so less gets bought twice and less gets thrown away.

  • KMedley tracks your actual weekly spend against what you intend to spend, so you can adjust as you go instead of discovering an overage after the fact.

  • Everyone sees the same kitchen and can contribute in different ways. Clear roles show who’s handling shopping, making, and other responsibilities, so no one person has to keep it all in their head.

  • Little nudges from your kitchen’s genie, the friendly intelligence behind the app. It offers insights that build real kitchen fluency over time.

What KMedley households are saying

Two people looking through a well-stocked pantry cupboard together
  • “I used to keep a running list in my head of what we had and what we needed. With KMedley, I don’t have to remember it all. It’s one less thing to think about. And the kitchen reset was priceless because we realized that we had a lot of expired food and items we did not need.”

    Joanna

    Household of 5

  • “KMedley is doing a public service to reduce food waste. It’s already paid for itself.”

    Brooks & Stephanie

    Household of 4

The kitchen is the beating heart of the home.

But running it has gotten hard. Groceries are expensive, schedules are overloaded, and too much is invisible and uncoordinated. KMedley's mission is to serve the household by reducing the friction of running the kitchen.

‍
That means helping them build awareness, make targeted changes, and create habits that last
, so their kitchens become calmer, easier and less expensive to run.

Our Origin

KMedley began after our founder, Evan, took on more of his household’s kitchen work while recovering from cancer in 2024. He experienced firsthand how much coordination, visibility, and routine a well-run kitchen requires and how sustaining daily life can feel when those pieces work together.

Questions, answered.

  • What is KMedley?

KMedley is a software, coaching and services bundle designed to make home kitchens easier to manage. It helps households streamline meal planning, shopping, organization, coordination and everyday kitchen operations, reducing the invisible mental load, unnecessary spending and food waste.

  • Both. We combine short-term coaching, the KMedley app and optional services to help build a well-run, connected kitchen. Why? Coaching needs structure and reinforcement, which is what the app provides, and services add specialized support.

  • For the Fast Track package, we can work with households anywhere in the US. For the Digital Reset and Complete Reset packages, we currently serve the Greater Boston area.

  • No. In-home services are optional and can accelerate your household’s journey when they make sense.

  • A Digital Reset builds on Fast Track with more hands-on setup from KMedley. We conduct a full pantry audit, digitize your core pantry inventory, set up food-waste tracking, configure your grocery stores, and provide six weekly coaching check-ins to help the new system take hold.

A Complete Reset includes everything in the Digital Reset, plus professional in-home pantry organizing, physical labels and container layouts, expanded meal-planning and library setup, eight weekly coaching check-ins, and three months of priority app support.

  • KMedley is designed to reduce work over time, not add another complicated routine. There is some upfront setup, but we help you focus on the areas that will make the biggest difference first.

  • No. KMedley is meant to give you useful visibility, not turn your kitchen into a data-entry project. You can start with the things that matter most to your household and build from there.

  • No. KMedley is designed around how your household actually works. Some people may use it regularly, while others may only participate in certain parts, like shopping, meal planning, or checking what’s at home. But everyone will benefit.

  • Yes. KMedley can be set up for a parent or other loved one, with family members or caregivers participating as appropriate. The goal is to create better visibility into what’s at home, what needs attention, and how kitchen responsibilities are being handled, while allowing each person to participate at the level that makes sense for them.

For households that need more hands-on help getting started, the Digital Reset or Complete Reset may be especially useful.

  • Yes. KMedley treats your household information as private. We use it only to support your household and make KMedley work better. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or other third parties.

  • You'll discuss with a KMedley coach how your kitchen works today and whether KMedley could be a fit.
